How to Protect New Welds From Rust

In this class we discuss how you can use ‘corrosion free engineering’ throughout your restoration, including the use of weld through primers and seam sealers. Ian uses his many years’ experience in the rust prevention and repair industry to show us how to prevent rust throughout your restoration. Ian teaches Matt how to properly apply seam sealers to new welds on a car. This is an important step in preventing rust and should be carried out on both new welded joints and factory seams.
